Cory and my shopping list has expanded lately to include some baby gear. Just a few of the highlights include a crib, a snotsucker, a plastic giraffe, and a banana slicer. For a good time, check out the Amazon.com customer reviews on these little numbers.
We've been hitting craigslist for baby stuff and have found already in our early development (pun intended) of baby adventures, that there are some goldmines of used baby stuff out there.
With the help of my mom, we purchased a crib yesterday for a super good price (turns out Tacoma has a better craigslist selection than Kennewick - go figure). So, now I own 3 kayaks and a crib. I guess it works?
I also found a perfect sized used dresser last week on the local craigslist which I plan on repainting and using as a changing table and dresser. I picked up some blue-grey paint and Home Depot today for the project. I've never refinished anything, so this should be a fun adventure. But, after talking to Cory about it tonight it may be more of an adventure for him than for me since he doesn't like the idea of me and baby boy Davidson breathing in paint fumes and says he would rather paint it himself. I married a good man. :)

That is a good man and a cute crib and I'm so excited to see your nursery you two create for this little one. He is such a lucky guy to come to you fine folks. So happy and excited for you!
ReplyDeleteFun stuff. Keith cleaned the bathroom throughout my entire pregnancy for the same reason, chemical fumes. I didn't complain! I am excited to see the finished result of the dresser!
ReplyDeleteP.S. At first I thought the picture was taken in your apartment, but then I saw the security camera in the corner, so maybe not?
